This can be any fun activity you enjoy, do it outdoors, in the sun. Step out of your comfort zone!

3. Create a daily routine

Maintaining a schedule of some sort is crucial to the healing and recovery process. Having duties or a schedule mapped out can create normalcy and balance in your life again whereas having too much “free time” can leave room for your mind and thoughts to wander.

4. Allow yourself to feel your emotions

While it may seem hard, give yourself those moments in the day to feel those emotions whether they are happy, sad, mad in order to work through the feelings you may be facing.
